X-Ray Admin Support Department

  • To meet and greet patients into the department. 
  • To deal with day-today enquires from patients, radiology consultants, referring consultants, CNS, and other staff within the trust including staff working in other clinical centres. This may be to give direct help, or giving directions to obtain assistance from the appropriate person.
  • To book In patient appointments as the in patient co-ordinator of the day.
  • To book outpatient appointments making outgoing calls and receiving incoming calls, to ensure we are achieving our current booking targets for all urgencies. 
  • To have knowledge of all x-ray or scan procedures completed within radiology and to have knowledge of all preparation required for all procedures.
  • To be responsible to complete any administrative task that is required for the role you covering on that day.
