We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, hard-working, housekeeper who will work as an integral part of the team ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment at all times.
You will need excellent interpersonal skills, as you will be liaising with and helping patients throughout the working day.  You will also be required to communicate with all levels of staff both face to face and over the telephone.
The post holder will be required to maintain stock levels and participate in the ordering of stock.  You will also be required to maintain a high level of cleanliness within the ward.
Applicants with previous experience in a health care setting are desirable, however you will need to demonstrate commitment to developing yourself to support the nursing team in caring for patients and ensuring the patient experience is positive.

• This role supports doctors, nurses and other staff by helping with paperwork and computer tasks.
• You will welcome patients and visitors to the ward and help keep their records up to date.
• You’ll answer phone calls, help arrange tests and transport, and make sure important documents are sent to the right places.
• You’ll work closely with the ward team and may help in other areas of the hospital when needed.
• You’ll use computers and office equipment to help manage patient information safely and correctly.
• Training will be provided, and you’ll be supported to learn and grow in the role.
