• Lead psychological assessments, treatments, and group programmes.

• This role is for a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner working in acute medicine.

• You will care for patients on the Acute Medical Unit and support emergency teams, including evenings and weekends.

• You will train while working, completing a Master’s degree and a prescribing qualification to progress to Band 8a.

• You will assess, treat, and manage patients, and help improve how care is delivered.

• You will work closely with doctors, nurses, and other staff as part of a 7-day service.

• You will also help teach others, follow safety rules, and take part in audits and training.

• Manage the daily work of the pre-treatment area and support the wider radiotherapy service.
• Carry out clinical duties, giving expert advice to staff and clinicians about pre-treatment and imaging.
• Lead the use of IV contrast to improve CT scans and work closely with the physics team to speed up planning.
