Allied Health Professionals - Specialist Speech and Language Therapist - Shrewsbury & Oswestry

Therapy SLT Outpatients & Community

  • This role involves working with patients who have complex health needs, assessing them and creating treatment plans.
  • You will use your specialist knowledge and skills to help patients get better and leave hospital safely.
  • You will work closely with other therapists and healthcare teams to make sure care is well organised and of a high standard.
  • You will help train and support other team members and students.
  • You will give expert advice to others and take part in improving the service.
  • You will need to communicate clearly with patients, families and staff, and be able to work under pressure in a busy environment.

Allied Health Professionals - Specialist Speech Therapist - RJAH

Therapy SLT Outpatients & Community

  • You will work with patients who have complex needs, helping to assess, treat and support them.
  • You will use your specialist knowledge and training to make decisions and plan care independently.
  • You will work closely with other healthcare staff to make sure patients get the best care and leave hospital safely.
  • You will help train and support other team members and students.
  • You will take part in audits and help improve how the service works.
  • You will communicate clearly with patients, carers and staff, and use equipment safely and correctly.

Allied Health Professionals - Deputy Radiology Centre Manager

Radiology & Imaging Services Management Team

• This role helps lead and manage the Radiology Centre to make sure patients receive safe, high‑quality care. 

• The post holder will support the Centre Manager in planning services, improving how the Centre works, and using resources well. 
• The role works with clinical leaders to design better patient pathways, especially for cancer services. 
• The post holder will focus on improving services by using data, solving problems, and helping teams work in the best way. 
• The post holder will be responsible for supporting staff, helping them develop, and making sure they can deliver good patient care. 
• The role also represents the Centre across the Trust and works with other teams to meet shared goals.

Salary: £55,690.00 – £62,682 per annum Closing Date: 07/04/2026 Job Ref: 223-DRC-146-A Location: Shrewsbury Contract: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week
