As an Allied Health Professional (AHP) working at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust, you'll play a key role in treating, rehabilitating and improving the lives of our patients. You'll help people regain independance and live their life to it's fullest.

Allied Health Professionals - Specialist Physiotherapist- Stroke and Early Supported Discharge - Internal

Physiotherapy

  • Provide specialist assessment and treatment for patients with complex needs, working independently to plan and deliver care.
  • Work closely with other healthcare staff to make sure patients receive safe care and are discharged at the right time.
  • Manage your own workload and help support and guide other team members through training and supervision.
  • Give clear advice and support to patients, families and colleagues, using strong communication skills at all times.
  • Keep accurate patient records, follow policies, and take part in audits and service improvements.
  • Act as a source of expert knowledge within the team and help improve services across the organisation. 

Salary: £39,959.00 – £48,117 per annum Closing Date: 22/06/2026 Job Ref: 223-SPS-481 Location: The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford Contract: 12 months (Fixed Term Secondment cover) Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week (To work weekends on a rota basis)

Allied Health Professionals - Audiologist Band 5

Audiology Department

  • Carry out hearing assessments and provide hearing aid support for adults in clinics and community settings.
  • Use specialist equipment to test hearing, fit hearing aids and keep accurate patient records.
  • Explain test results and treatment options clearly to patients, families and carers.
  • Work closely with doctors, nurses and other teams to provide safe and joined-up patient care.
  • Follow professional guidelines and use good judgement to make sure patients receive high-quality care.
  • Take part in training, appraisals and service improvement to continue developing skills and knowledge.
