Allied Health Professionals - Specialist Speech and Language Therapist - Stroke and Rehab

Therapy Inpatients Stroke & Rehab

Assess, diagnose and treat patients with complex conditions, creating personalised treatment plans to meet their needs.
Work closely with doctors, nurses, therapists and other healthcare professionals to support safe care and timely patient discharge.
Manage and prioritise a specialist caseload, making independent clinical decisions and adapting plans when needs change.
Provide expert advice and support to colleagues, patients and carers, using clear and compassionate communication.
Support the development of staff and students through training, supervision, mentoring and sharing specialist knowledge.
Contribute to service improvement by taking part in audits, maintaining high professional standards and helping to develop effective ways of working.

Salary: £39,959.00 – £48,117 per annum Closing Date: 29/09/2026 Job Ref: 223-SLT-720 Location: Telford Contract: Permanent Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Allied Health Professionals - Rotational Occupational Therapist

Therapy Inpatients OT

Assess and support patients with a wide range of health needs to help them recover and achieve the best possible outcomes.
Manage your own caseload, carrying out assessments and creating personalised treatment plans.
Work closely with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide safe, high-quality patient care.
Communicate clearly with patients, families and colleagues, giving advice, support and information about treatment options.
Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to service improvements, audits, training and ongoing professional development.
Work across different hospital and community settings, helping patients throughout their care and discharge journey.

Salary: £32,073.00 – £39,043 per annum Closing Date: 29/09/2026 Job Ref: 223-ROT-724 Location: Shrewsbury and Telford Contract: Fixed term for 10 months Hours: 33.75 hours per week

Allied Health Professionals - Specialist Physiotherapist (rotational)

Therapy Inpatients PT

This role involves working with patients who have complex health needs, assessing and treating them using specialist skills.
You will work independently and as part of a team to make sure patients get the best care and are safely discharged.
You will help train and support other team members and students, sharing your knowledge and experience.
You will take part in meetings and communicate clearly with patients, families and other health professionals.
You will help improve the service by taking part in audits and suggesting changes.
You will use equipment safely and keep up to date with training and new developments.

Salary: £39,959.00 – £48,117 per annum Closing Date: 29/09/2026 Job Ref: 223-SPR-726 Location: Telford Contract: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week (part time hours will also be considered)

Allied Health Professionals - Pre Treatment Therapeutic Radiographer

Radiotherapy

Lead and support the radiotherapy pre-treatment service, helping patients move smoothly from referral to treatment planning.
Carry out specialist pre-treatment procedures, including CT scans, virtual simulation and the use of contrast media, to prepare patients for radiotherapy.
Provide kind, clear and supportive care for cancer patients and their families, ensuring their needs are understood and met.
Help manage the day-to-day running of the pre-treatment team, including coordinating workloads, solving problems and maintaining high standards of care.
Work closely with doctors, physicists and other healthcare professionals to make sure treatment plans are completed on time and national targets are achieved.
Support, train and guide staff and students, while helping to improve services, patient care and new ways of working.

Salary: £49,387.00 – £56,515 per annum Closing Date: 06/10/2026 Job Ref: 223-PTT-738 Location: The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital Contract: Permanent Hours: Part time - 30 hours per week (3 days per week, Mon to Friday with oncall, Bank holidays and saturdays as required)
