Healthcare Scientists - Reproductive Science Practitioner

Reproductive Science

  • The role helps keep daily operations running smoothly and supports the team with important tasks.
  • You will work with others to solve problems and make sure work is done on time.
  • The job involves using simple systems and tools to organise information and complete tasks.
  • You will speak with different people, share updates, and make sure everyone has what they need.
  • The role includes following clear steps and guidelines to keep work accurate and safe.
  • You will look for small ways to improve how things are done and help the team do their best.

Salary: £32,073.00 – £39,043 per annum Closing Date: 13/07/2026 Job Ref: 223-RSP-527 Location: Severn Fields Health Village Contract: 18 months - Fixed term/ secondment Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week (Weekend and evening on-call as required)

Healthcare Scientists - Senior Radiotherapy Physicist

Radiotherapy Physics

  • The role helps make sure cancer patients get safe and accurate radiotherapy treatment.
  • It involves planning and checking treatment, measuring radiation doses and making sure all equipment works safely.
  • The job gives expert advice to doctors, radiographers and other staff about radiotherapy and how to keep people safe from radiation.
  • It also includes testing new machines, helping bring in new treatment methods and taking part in research.
  • The role supports training for other staff and helps improve how the radiotherapy service is run. 

Salary: £57,528.00 – £64,750 per annum Closing Date: 31/07/2026 Job Ref: 223-SRP -532 Location: The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital Contract: Permanent Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week (Four long days, 8am - 6pm)
