 A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join us at SaTH and support our Estates & MES team with their core operating systems. You will be a key part of an exciting journey for our hospitals around Shrewsbury & Telford.

The Trust has just started to embark on a major capital investment program of up to £312m to upgrade its estate, and create state of the art medical facilities, developed in conjunction with our Clinicians.  The role will be fundamental in developing the Estates department, within a Trust that has a culture of supportive and ambitious teams that are passionate about patient care.

Working within Estates, you will proactively advance systems optimisation. Explore future opportunities. Liaise with multiple external consultants. Provide regular CAFM performance reports and analytics. Undertake regular audits and verifications. Support project transition and information management.

 

 

Main duties of the job

 

The Trust's aim is always to put patients at the heart of everything we do and is guided by the principles and Trust values developed by our staff. In line with this vision, the Estates Directorate are seeking a highly committed and experienced professional systems lead to join our team, who will play a key role in helping to shape and develop the Trust’s estates systems, and include you having managerial, professional and technical responsibility for the systems, which are help deliver our service across all of the Trust portfolio.

You will lead and develop the Estates support systems across all the portfolio of SaTH  sites to ensure they are “fit for the future”. The successful candidate will work closely with the new Head of Estates and have responsibility for the management     of the Trust's estates system portfolio.

Be the System manager, process data updates and upload documents, be the main lead and point of contact for all MiCAD (Estates CAFM System) and CAD queries, provide assistance to colleagues and other users as required, liaise with the MiCAD company for timely resolution of eventual system failures, lead on licences update and training upgrades.

Support the Space planning team with graphical and analytical reports for the purpose of the space planning solutions development. Once a new space allocation is approved, reflect the change on MiCAD.
