Nursing and Midwifery - Neonatal Practice Education Facilitator

Neonatal

  • This role supports the training and development of nurses working in neonatal care.
  • You will help new staff learn key clinical skills and support their ongoing training.
  • You will work with other educators and teams to plan and deliver teaching sessions.
  • You will help make sure staff follow important rules and keep their skills up to date.
  • You will support safe and high-quality care for babies and their families.
  • You will help improve how care is given by encouraging learning and new ideas

Nursing and Midwifery - Senior Theatre Practitioner

Theatres Department

  • To function as an competent clinical practitioner within their designated clinical area. To deliver direct patient care whilst, coordinating and overseeing nursing/theatre practice. 
  • To be responsible for ensuring the delivery of clinical activities during their span of duty. 
  • To ensure that there is efficient and effective utilisation of resources to deliver optimum quality care to their client group. 
  • To deputise for the ward/ department manager in his / her absence, driving forward evidence-based practice and taking responsibility for the supervision of staff and the policies and practices that operate within their clinical area. 
  • To work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
  •  To participate in the on-call rota if post within theatres

SDEC

  • This role involves leading and managing a hospital ward or department to make sure patients get the best care possible.
  • You will work closely with nurses and other staff, helping them do their jobs well and making sure they follow hospital rules.
  • You will also help plan how care is given, making sure it is safe, effective and based on the latest research.
  • You will support patients and their families, making sure they feel listened to and cared for.
  • You will help train and guide junior staff, making sure everyone keeps learning and improving.

  • This role involves caring for patients and helping to lead the nursing team.

  • You may take part in meetings, research and on-call duties when needed.

Nursing and Midwifery - Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Specialist

Medical Staff - Palliative Care

  • This role is part of the specialist palliative care team, helping patients and families during serious illness and at the end of life. 
  • You will give expert advice and support to patients, families, and hospital staff across both hospital sites. 
  • You will manage a group of patients with complex needs, making sure their care is planned and delivered in the best way possible. 
  • You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to make sure care is joined-up and meets each patient’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. 
  • You will help train and support hospital staff to improve palliative and end of life care. 
  • You will also help develop and improve services, take part in meetings, and lead on projects to make care better for patients and families.
