Nursing and Midwifery - Skin Cancer Nurse Specialist

Specialist Nurses - Dermatology

Provide specialist support and care for patients with skin cancer, helping them through their treatment and recovery journey.
Assess, plan and review patient care, working closely with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Give clear advice, information and emotional support to patients, families and carers, helping them make informed decisions about their care.
Act as a specialist resource for staff by sharing knowledge, supporting learning and promoting best practice in skin cancer care.
Help coordinate care across different services, ensuring patients receive timely, safe and high-quality treatment.
Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to improving services through feedback, research, audits and evidence-based practice.

Nursing and Midwifery - Haematology Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Specialist Nurses - Haematology

Lead and support the Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialist team to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care.
Provide expert advice and support to patients, families and carers from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up care.
Work closely with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.
Develop and improve services, care pathways and nursing practices to ensure patients receive the best possible experience.
Monitor standards of care, support staff development, and help ensure services meet national and local quality requirements.
Act as a key contact for patients, families and staff, providing guidance, education and specialist knowledge in haematology care.

Nursing and Midwifery - Neonatal Community Outreach Team Staff Nurse

Neonatal Outreach Department

Supports babies and their families as they move from neonatal care in hospital to care at home, helping to ensure a safe and smooth discharge.
Provides specialist neonatal follow-up care, including home visits, to monitor babies’ progress and offer support when needed.
Gives advice, education and emotional support to parents and carers, helping them feel confident in caring for their baby at home.
Works closely with neonatal, maternity and community teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care across Shropshire, Telford and Powys.
Assesses, plans and reviews care for babies and families, recognising any concerns and responding appropriately to meet individual needs.
Contributes to the development of neonatal outreach and transitional care services, working across both hospital sites as part of a seven-day service.

Nursing and Midwifery - Ophthalmic Retinal Nurse Injector (Internal Only)

Specialist Nurses - Ophthalmology (RSH)

Provide specialist nursing care for patients attending retinal and ophthalmology clinics, helping to support their treatment and ongoing eye health.
Carry out intravitreal eye injections and other clinical duties safely and independently, following Trust policies, clinical guidelines and professional standards.
Assess, plan, deliver and review individual patient care, ensuring patients and their families receive clear information, support and advice.
Manage a caseload of patients within nurse-led clinics and work closely with consultants and the wider healthcare team to provide high-quality care.
Maintain accurate patient records, promote patient choice and wellbeing, and ensure care is delivered in a safe, compassionate and professional manner.

Nursing and Midwifery - Digital Lead Nurse / AHP (Internal Vacancy)

IT Department

This role leads the introduction of new digital systems and technology across clinical services, helping staff adopt new ways of working that improve patient car
The post holder works closely with nurses, doctors, allied health professionals and other teams to understand their needs and make sure digital solutions support safe and effective care
They provide expert clinical advice for digital projects, helping to design, test and improve systems such as electronic patient records and other healthcare technology
The role supports and trains staff, acts as a clinical role model, and helps teams build the skills and confidence needed to use new systems successfully
The post holder manages change projects, identifies risks and challenges, and works with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely and effectively
They use feedback, data and clinical knowledge to improve services, support patient safety, and help the Trust achieve its digital transformation goals.

X-Ray Department

Provide high-quality care and support for patients within the Interventional Radiology team, making sure their needs are assessed and met throughout their treatment.
Lead and support the nursing team during each shift, helping staff work safely, effectively and to a high standard.
Coordinate daily activities within the department to ensure patients receive timely care and resources are used efficiently.

Nursing and Midwifery - TB Clinical Nurse Specialist

Specialist Nurses - TB (RSH)

Provide expert nursing care for people with tuberculosis (TB), making sure care is safe, high quality, and based on best practice.
Manage a specialist caseload by assessing patients’ needs, planning care, and supporting patients and their families throughout treatment.
Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other professionals to make sure care is well coordinated across hospital and community services.
Support and guide other staff by sharing specialist knowledge and helping them develop skills in TB care.
Help improve services by taking part in audits, service development, and following Trust and national guidelines.
Be flexible and able to work in other areas of the Trust at short notice during busy periods or emergencies.
