Nursing and Midwifery - Renal Vascular Specialist Nurse

Renal

Help patients with kidney disease get the right dialysis access care at the right time.
Plan and coordinate patient care, including referrals, appointments, tests, procedures and follow-up care.
Check and monitor dialysis access, identify problems early and help arrange further tests or treatment when needed.
Work closely with renal teams, surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide safe, joined-up care.
Provide clear advice, support and education to patients, families and staff about dialysis access and how to care for it.
Help improve the renal access service by keeping accurate records, supporting staff training and taking part in audits, research and service improvements.

Salary: £39,959.00 – £48,117 per annum Closing Date: 28/09/2026 Job Ref: 223-RVN-714 Location: The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital Contract: Permanent Hours: 18 hours per week (1 x 10hrs shift and 8 hours shift)

Nursing and Midwifery - Neonatal Unit Safeguarding Specialist Liaison Nurse / Midwife

Safeguarding Adults and Children Team (PRH)

Support babies, unborn children and their families by helping to keep them safe and ensuring they receive the right care and support.
Work closely with doctors, nurses, midwives and other professionals to identify safeguarding concerns and help families access services at an early stage.
Provide advice, guidance and training to hospital staff to help them understand and follow safeguarding policies and procedures.
Take part in meetings, reviews and audits to help improve safeguarding practice and ensure high standards of care across the Trust.
Keep accurate records, manage sensitive information and help prepare reports to support safeguarding decisions and patient safety.
Act as a visible role model, promoting safe, effective and compassionate care for babies and families within the Neonatal and Maternity services.

Nursing and Midwifery - Trainee Critical Care Outreach Nurse Practitioner

Critical Care Outreach Practitioner Team

Assess and support patients whose condition is becoming unwell or critical, helping to prevent further deterioration.
Respond quickly to medical emergencies and work with healthcare teams to deliver safe and effective care.
Support patients moving to and from Critical Care, helping to ensure smooth admissions, transfers and discharges.
Carry out specialist treatments, assessments and investigations to improve patient outcomes.
Provide advice, guidance and training to ward staff, helping to develop skills and maintain high standards of care.
Work closely with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compassionate and person-centred care.

Nursing and Midwifery - Lung Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist

Specialist Nurses (Lung)

This role provides specialist nursing support for people with lung cancer, mesothelioma and pleural conditions, helping them and their families throughout their care journey.
Act as a key worker and main point of contact, offering advice, information and emotional support at important stages of diagnosis, treatment and follow up care.
Work closely with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, ensure patients receive the support they need, and help them make informed decisions about their treatment.
Support and develop the pleural service, helping patients manage symptoms, understand their condition and access the right care both in hospital and in the community.
Represent and advocate for patients within the multidisciplinary team, ensuring their needs, concerns and preferences are considered when planning and delivering care.
Contribute to service improvement, education and research activities to help provide safe, effective and high-quality care for patients across the Trust.
