Acute Medical Unit (AMU)

Provide expert nursing care and lead the day-to-day running of the ward or department, ensuring patients receive safe and high-quality care at all times
Manage, support, and guide staff, making sure everyone understands their roles and works well together as a team
Coordinate all clinical activities across a 24-hour period, including patient admissions, care planning, and safe discharge

Specialist Nurses - Urology Surgery

The role provides specialist nursing care for adults with urology conditions or stoma needs, supporting them in both hospital and community settings.
It involves assessing patients, planning their care, and helping them understand their diagnosis and treatment options.
The postholder will run nurse‑led clinics, offer expert advice to patients and staff, and act as a key worker to support people through their treatment journey.

Provide expert nursing care for people with tuberculosis (TB), making sure care is safe, high quality, and based on best practice.
Manage a specialist caseload by assessing patients’ needs, planning care, and supporting patients and their families throughout treatment.
Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other professionals to make sure care is well coordinated across hospital and community services.
