Nursing and Midwifery - Sister - Band 6 *INTERNAL ONLY POST*

General Outpatient Department

  • You will help care for patients and make sure they get the right treatment. 
  • You will support and guide other staff, helping them do their jobs well. 
  • You will help manage the ward or department when the manager is away. 
  • You will make sure the team works well together and uses time and resources wisely. 
  • You will talk with patients, families, and staff to make sure everyone understands what’s happening. • You will help train new staff and make sure care is always safe and up to date.  

Salary: £39,959.00 – £48,117 per annum Closing Date: 22/09/2026 Job Ref: 223-SIS-708 Location: Telford Contract: Permanent Hours: 32 hours per week

Nursing and Midwifery - Renal Vascular Specialist Nurse

Renal

  • Help patients with kidney disease get the right dialysis access care at the right time.
  • Plan and coordinate patient care, including referrals, appointments, tests, procedures and follow-up care.
  • Check and monitor dialysis access, identify problems early and help arrange further tests or treatment when needed.
  • Work closely with renal teams, surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide safe, joined-up care.
  • Provide clear advice, support and education to patients, families and staff about dialysis access and how to care for it.
  • Help improve the renal access service by keeping accurate records, supporting staff training and taking part in audits, research and service improvements. 

Salary: £39,959.00 – £48,117 per annum Closing Date: 28/09/2026 Job Ref: 223-RVN-714 Location: The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital Contract: Permanent Hours: 18 hours per week (1 x 10hrs shift and 8 hours shift)

Nursing and Midwifery - Neonatal Unit Safeguarding Specialist Liaison Nurse / Midwife

Safeguarding Adults and Children Team (PRH)

  • Support babies, unborn children and their families by helping to keep them safe and ensuring they receive the right care and support. 
  • Work closely with doctors, nurses, midwives and other professionals to identify safeguarding concerns and help families access services at an early stage. 
  • Provide advice, guidance and training to hospital staff to help them understand and follow safeguarding policies and procedures. 
  • Take part in meetings, reviews and audits to help improve safeguarding practice and ensure high standards of care across the Trust. 
  • Keep accurate records, manage sensitive information and help prepare reports to support safeguarding decisions and patient safety. 
  •  Act as a visible role model, promoting safe, effective and compassionate care for babies and families within the Neonatal and Maternity services.
