Nursing and Midwifery - Breast Care Nurse

Specialist Nurses - Breast Surgery (PRH)

  • The role supports the Breast Care nursing team and helps make sure every patient has someone they can turn to throughout their care.
  • It involves giving patients and their families clear information, emotional support and guidance at important moments, especially after a cancer diagnosis.
  • The post holder helps coordinate each patient’s care, making sure their needs are assessed and that they are linked to the right services.
  • The role also supports the senior nurses with teaching, training and developing learning materials for staff and students.
  • It includes helping prepare for MDT meetings, sharing decisions with patients and other professionals, and helping the team meet cancer care targets.

Nursing and Midwifery - Nursing Associate

Acute Medical Unit (AMU) (RSH)

  • Help care for people of all ages in different places, making sure they feel safe and respected.
  • Work closely with nurses and other team members to give the best care possible.

Nursing and Midwifery - Staff Nurse - Acute Medical Unit

Acute Medical Unit

  • The role involves caring for patients and making sure their needs are met safely and with kindness
  • You will notice changes in patients’ health and make sure the right people are told quickly
  • You will keep patient records up to date and use information to help make good care decisions
  • You will give medicines safely and follow all professional rules and Trust policies
  • You will support and guide junior staff and help create a positive learning environment

Nursing and Midwifery - Dialysis Assistant

Renal Dialysis Unit (RSH)

  • The role supports the renal unit by helping manage equipment, stock and supplies, and keeping storage areas clean and safe.
  • It involves preparing, cleaning and setting up dialysis equipment, and helping with basic patient care such as mobility, hygiene and pre-dialysis checks.
  • The post holder will learn to carry out dialysis tasks under supervision, including setting up machines, monitoring patients and recognising when someone becomes unwell.
  • They will work closely with nurses, follow safety procedures and report any problems quickly.
  • Good communication, teamwork and a helpful approach to patients, families and staff are essential.

Nursing and Midwifery - Tissue Viability Specialist Nurse

Tissue Viability Team

  • The role supports the Lead Nurse by helping to provide safe, evidence-based care for patients with wounds and skin problems.
  • It involves giving advice to staff, helping to check and improve the quality of care, and supporting education across the Trust.
  • The post holder will work independently within their skills, while also working closely with other teams to improve patient outcomes.
  • They will help develop the Tissue Viability Service and act as a knowledgeable resource for staff.
  • The role also supports the wider nursing team in promoting good practice and improving patient care across the organisation.

Nursing and Midwifery - Menopause Clinical Nurse Specialist

Menopause

  • The Menopause Clinical Nurse Specialist provides expert care and support for people going through menopause or perimenopause.
  • The role includes assessing symptoms, helping plan treatment, and supporting safe use of HRT and other options.
  • The post holder works independently, gives specialist advice to other staff, and helps improve how menopause care is delivered.
  • They lead and support training for healthcare teams and help create information for patients.
  • The role also involves working with many different services to make sure care is joined up and easy to access.
  • They help keep patients safe by following national guidance and taking part in audits, service reviews, and quality improvement.

Nursing and Midwifery - TB Clinical Nurse Specialist

Specialist Nurses - TB

• Provide expert nursing care for people with tuberculosis (TB), making sure care is safe, high quality, and based on best practice. 

 • Manage a specialist caseload by assessing patients’ needs, planning care, and supporting patients and their families throughout treatment. 
 • Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other professionals to make sure care is well coordinated across hospital and community services. 
 • Support and guide other staff by sharing specialist knowledge and helping them develop skills in TB care. 
 • Help improve services by taking part in audits, service development, and following Trust and national guidelines. 
 • Be flexible and able to work in other areas of the Trust at short notice during busy periods or emergencies. 

Salary: £49,387.00 – £56,515 per annum Closing Date: 05/05/2026 Job Ref: 223-TBN-321 Location: Shrewsbury Contract: Permanent Hours: 19 hours per week

Diabetes and Endocrinology

  • You will provide expert care and support for people with diabetes and endocrine conditions.
  • You will manage your own patient caseload, giving advice, education and treatment in different settings.
  • You will teach and train patients, families and staff to help improve knowledge and self-care.
  • You will work closely with other health professionals to make sure care is joined up and effective.
  • You will help develop services, carry out audits, and use research to improve standards of care.
  • You will support the team by showing leadership, sharing skills, and helping others to learn and grow.
