Clinical Support - Senior Pharmacy Support Officer – Rotational

Pharmacy

  • This job involves helping to prepare and give out medicines in the pharmacy.
  • You will work with different types of medicines, including those used for cancer treatment and special nutrition.
  • You’ll help keep records up to date and make sure medicines are stored and used safely.
  • You’ll work closely with other pharmacy and nursing staff to make sure patients get the right medicines.
  • You’ll help keep the pharmacy clean and tidy, and follow important safety rules.
  • Sometimes you may need to help in other areas or work extra hours if needed.

Clinical Support - HCA - Discharge Lounge RSH & PRH

Discharge Lounge

  • This job is about helping nurses take care of patients.
  • You will support patients with washing, eating, drinking, and going to the toilet.
  • You will help keep the ward clean, tidy, and safe.
  • You will check and write down things like temperature and blood pressure.
  • You may help move patients safely and take them to other parts of the hospital.
  • You will also help with simple admin tasks and talk kindly to patients and visitors.

Salary: £24,465.00 – £24,465 per annum Closing Date: 04/02/2026 Job Ref: 223-HCD-061 Location: The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and The Princess Royal Hospital Contract: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week (7 day shift pattern including weekends and bank holidays)

Clinical Support - Trainee Ophthalmic Assistant - Ophthalmology Outpatients

Ophthalmology

  • This role supports patients as they move through the eye clinic, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and informed.
  • You will help nurses with basic care tasks, such as taking observations and assisting with mobility.
  • You will talk with patients and their families, helping them understand what is happening and where they need to go.
  • You will keep patient information private and help with simple admin tasks like checking clinic lists and keeping records up to date.
  • You will help keep the clinic clean, tidy, and well stocked, and prepare equipment for use.
  • You will learn new eye‑care skills, such as checking vision, helping with scans, and supporting minor eye procedures

  • This role supports ward teams by helping patients with everyday care such as washing, eating, drinking and using the toilet.
  • You will check and record basic health observations and report any concerns to a nurse.
  • You will help keep patients safe and comfortable by moving them correctly, keeping the ward tidy and preparing equipment.
  • You will also support nurses with simple administrative tasks like updating records and answering the phone.
  • You will follow training, work within Trust policies and communicate kindly with patients, families and staff.
  • You will manage your own tasks during each shift and help create a calm, clean and supportive environmen

Clinical Support - CDC Operations Manager

Pathology Services Management Team

  • This role helps lead the Centre and supports the Centre Manager to make sure patients receive safe, high-quality care.
  • It involves planning how services should run, solving problems, and helping teams work well together.
  • The job includes improving services, managing staff and budgets, and making sure rules and safety standards are followed.
  • It also means working with other Centres, health partners and the public to support good patient care.
  • The post holder will help shape the future of the Centre and take charge when the Centre Manager is away

Salary: £55,690.00 – £62,682 per annum Closing Date: 17/02/2026 Job Ref: 223-COM-122 Location: Community Diagnostic Centre, Hollinswood House, Telford with cross site working to all hospital sites Contract: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week
