Clinical Support - Pharmacy Support Officer (Distribution and Stores)

Pharmacy

  • The role supports pharmacy technicians and pharmacists by helping to prepare, deliver and manage medicines across the hospital.
  • It involves keeping stock levels safe and organised, delivering medicines to wards, and carrying out basic dispensing tasks under supervision.
  • The post holder will follow set procedures at all times to keep patients and staff safe.
  • They will also help with reception duties, answer routine enquiries, and work with many different healthcare staff.
  • Training is provided, including completing the NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services.

Salary: £25,272.00 – £25,272 per annum Closing Date: 22/09/2026 Job Ref: 223-PSO-553-A Location: The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital Contract: 12 months (12 month fixed term granted by b/case, with view to make permanent if benefits realised at 6 months.) Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday with 1 in 4 Saturdays)

Clinical Support - Healthcare Assistant - General Outpatients Department

General Outpatients

  • This role supports registered nurses in providing safe and caring support to patients.
  • It involves helping patients with everyday needs such as washing, eating, drinking and moving safely.
  • You will check and record basic health information and report any concerns to a nurse.
  • The job includes keeping the ward clean, tidy and well-organised, and helping with basic admin tasks.
  • You will work flexibly across different wards and follow all training, policies and safety rules.
  • Good communication, kindness and respect for patients and their individual needs are essential.

Salary: £25,760.00 – £27,476 per annum Closing Date: 22/09/2026 Job Ref: 223-HCA-707 Location: Telford Contract: Permanent Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Clinical Support - Decontamination Technician

Endoscopy Unit (PRH)

  • Responsible for cleaning, disinfecting and preparing endoscopes and related equipment so they are safe to use for patient care.
  • Help maintain a clean, tidy and well-organised decontamination area, ensuring all equipment is working correctly and supplies are stocked.
  • Follow national, local and Trust procedures to make sure high standards of safety, quality and infection prevention are maintained.
  • Report equipment faults, stock shortages and any issues that could affect the smooth running of the service.
  • Keep accurate records and use tracking systems to ensure all equipment can be traced and monitored correctly.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the Endoscopy Unit, supporting service improvements, training and the delivery of an efficient service across both hospital sites.
