Clinical Support - Clinical Site Manager

Clinical Site Management

This role helps manage hospital operations during out-of-hours times, making sure everything runs smoothly.
It supports staff and patients by helping with bed space, patient movement, and safe care.
The person in this role works closely with different teams to solve problems and keep services going.
They help patients get the right care in the right place and make sure discharges happen safely and quickly.
They also follow hospital rules and help with emergencies when needed.
This role involves working across hospital sites and being a key contact for staff, patients, and families.

Clinical Support - Pharmacy Support Officer (Distribution and Stores)

Pharmacy

The role supports pharmacy technicians and pharmacists by helping to prepare, deliver and manage medicines across the hospital.
It involves keeping stock levels safe and organised, delivering medicines to wards, and carrying out basic dispensing tasks under supervision.
The post holder will follow set procedures at all times to keep patients and staff safe.
They will also help with reception duties, answer routine enquiries, and work with many different healthcare staff.
Training is provided, including completing the NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services.

Salary: £24,465.00 – £24,465 per annum Closing Date: 25/03/2026 Job Ref: 223-PSD-225 Location: The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital Contract: Permanent Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday with 1 in 4 Saturdays)

Clinical Support - Higher Therapy Support Worker T&O

Therapy Inpatient Assistants

• To support the qualified therapist (Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist Dietitian and Speech and Language Therapist) in providing a high standard of Therapy intervention following protocols agreed by professional colleagues.

• To work as a positive and proactive member of the multidisciplinary team

• To perform screening assessments and treatment programmes as per agreed protocols with delegated patients.

• To hold responsibility for own delegated caseload following discussion with the Therapist.

• To work within a competency framework to ensure safe practise.

• To always use the Trust values as a framework for own behaviour and encourage others to do likewise, ensuring the values underpin all that is done by the Therapy teams.

Salary: £24,937.00 – £26,598 per annum Closing Date: 25/03/2026 Job Ref: 223-HTS-228 Location: Shrewsbury Contract: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Clinical Support - Pathology IT Support Officer

IT Department

This role supports the Pathology IT team as they bring in new computer systems and keep current systems running safely.
It includes helping staff with IT problems, setting up and fixing hardware and software, and giving training to people who use Pathology systems.
The job also involves working on major projects, including replacing key laboratory systems and updating equipment.
You will help check that new systems work properly, keep good records, and follow important quality and safety standards.
The role is based across both PRH and RSH sites, and because of project demands, home or flexible working will be limited.

Salary: £31,049.00 – £37,796 per annum Closing Date: 27/03/2026 Job Ref: 223-PTM-095 Location: The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital Contract: Secondment until July 2026 Hours: 37.5 hours per week
