Job overview

As a member of the Radiology Systems Team this role will support the Radiology and Imaging Departments and wider trust in maintaining Radiology systems to ensure continuity of service, resolution of technical issues.

The post is based at The Princess Royal Hospital in Telford, however the post-holder will be required to cover work at Royal  Shrewsbury Hospital  on a regular basis and be willing to travel to other hospital sites within Shropshire as required.

1 Full time position 37.5 hours

1 Part time positions 30 hours 

Main duties of the job

The post-holder is responsible for supporting the IT systems used within the Radiology Departments. Duties include:

Troubleshooting issues relating to Radiology software / hardware.
Assisting in projects within the Imaging Departments.
Providing 1st line support for issues relating to Radiology IT systems and data held within systems. 
Supporting the department managers in ensuring that all Radiology data entered into IT systems is correct and inline with RCR standards. 
Working with internal and external departments to ensure systems are working as expected.
