Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen on the Renal Unit at Hollinswood House for a Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly and dynamic Nursing Team. 

The Renal Unit is a busy outpatient area for patients with kidney failure. Patients come in for treatment at least three times a week for 4 hours treatment on a dialysis machine.

We are looking for people who are caring and compassionate and who have strong communication and observation skills, to deliver excellent patient-focused care in a challenging fast paced environment.

Main duties of the job

You will assist staff in the preparation of the dialysis areas and in the disposal of dialysis consumables and waste.
Stocking up the unit on a daily basis. 
You will be working in a stimulating and supportive working environment with opportunities for further learning and development.

Working for our organisation

The Renal Unit is very friendly team and you will get to know the patients very well as they attend so often. It is essential we keep our units as clean as possible for our vulnerable patient group and you will play a key part in that team.

Full and part time hours will be considered.
