Medical Engineering Degree Level Apprenticeship Open Day - Princess Royal Hospital, Telford

Are you a motivated team player with a willingness to learn and an interest in the technology of a healthcare setting?

Do you have or expect qualifications of 3 GCSEs grade 9 - 4 (A* - C) or equivalent in English, Maths and a Science subject? 2 A Levels in Chemistry or Biology and one other Science subject? Or BTEC Level 3 equivalent?

If so, you could pursue a rewarding career with The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust multidisciplinary Medical Engineering team, providing a comprehensive equipment management service to medical devices with a value of £40 million. To support future development we are seeking 3 apprentices to work in our Shrewsbury, Telford and Renal teams.

We have an Open Day taking place on 29th June at 9.30 am at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford, to find out more about the Apprenticeship. It is strongly advised you attend.

This is a chance to meet the team and ask any questions you might have about the course.

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to partake in a 3-year Healthcare Science level 6 degree training programme. During the apprenticeship you will be sponsored to undertake a BSc (Hons) and benefit from structured in-house training in all aspects of medical device servicing, whilst also receiving the national apprentice wage in year 1. Years 2 and 3 will be paid at the Government set National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage Rates which are reviewed each April.

All university and training costs are included as part of this programme.
