Do you have an interest in Women's health and do you strive to deliver excellent patient care?
If so then this position is for you, we have a Band 5 permanent position that has come up within our Gynaecology outpatient services.
This role requires the successful candidate to work in our gynaecology outpatients units. This will include working in clinics across site at PRH, RSH and Apley Clinic.
On successful appointment to this post, you will be supported in your role with a period of supernumerary practice across both areas.
Main duties of the job
- To be an accountable and professional registered adult nurse
- To work within a team and to work on your own initiative when required
- To be able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patient attending our clinics
- Assist the clinicians with minor procedures
- To administer medication under prescription
- prioritise workload in a busy outpatient environment
- Ensure clinics are running efficiently
- promote a positive patient experience
- To identify areas for quality improvement
