Are you  a forward thinking ,enthusiastic and motivated individual ? Then you could be the candidate we are looking for a Sister/Charge nurse to join our busy dynamic nursing team on  ward 8  Elective Orthopaedics. This is a full time  permanent position in a demanding role that requires commitment and a positive approach towards change.

The successful candidate must have Orthopaedic experience in either Trauma or Elective Surgery and a proven ability in supervising and managing a busy acute Ward. The post requires co-ordinating and controlling the activities of the unit in an effective and efficient manner and also supporting the  ward manager with the development of the service  .

You will be a clinical role model and have a willingness to contribute to the development of the team  as well as your own professional growth. You will  be a qualified assessor/supervisor supporting  student nurses during there placements and will be expected to become a preceptor for junior colleagues .

You will have excellent communication skills and high clinical standards with a passion to make a difference for patients and staff alike, working alongside and supporting  the team to achieve exemplar status.
