We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Nurse to join our Respiratory Specialist Nursing Team.  The post holder will be required to work closely with colleagues and support centres for Respiratory Disease Management.  The successful applicant can anticipate a full and active role in chronic disease management by delivering patient care from diagnosis encompassing general support, counselling and education, symptom assessment and management, and support and monitoring.

We are looking for a dynamic nurse to develop this role and help drive the service forward.  The post will be based at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, Shrewsbury but you will also be required to work at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford.

The successful applicant would be joining a team who are committed to the service and who are constantly driving the service forward.  We are eager to attract a motivated person to help expand the role and develop a unique and challenging role.

The Trust comprises of The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford, and is committed to providing a high quality, accessible and equitable Respiratory service across both Hospitals with strong links and working relationship with the Primary Care Trusts.

The Trust serves the 600,000 people living in Shropshire and mid-Powys.  The Trust is a teaching Hospital allied to Keele University Medical School and provides neurology teaching for 4th year Medical Students.
