An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Staff Menopause Service for a Registered Nurse.   This position is part time based at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford, but will be expected to work cross site once competencies have been met.

Working within a small team, the successful applicant will have an interest in complications of Menopause, and to making a difference for staff who may be going through the menopause.

The successful applicant will have extensive gynaecological knowledge with a general understanding of menopause, be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the team and service. 

 

Main duties of the job

 

  • To provide a dedicated service to staff who experience menopause.
  • To provide highly sensitive information about options of care to women who experiencing menopause. 
  • To provide reassurance and on-going support within staff education groups
  • To work autonomously across both sites

 

Working for our organisation

 

You will be required to work with the Lead Menopause Consultant within the team, ensuring patient safety being a priority.
