An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Dental Nurse to join the Maxillofacial and Orthodontic Nursing team as part of our bank staff.

Working alongside the consultancy teams, the role will demand commitment, desire for self development and a flexible approach.

The successful applicant must have proven post qualification experience.  A Dental Radiology qualification is desirable but not essential.

The service currently runs Monday - Friday 9.00 am -5.00 pm, with a requirement to work cross site (The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and The Princess Royal, Telford) to meet service demand.

Main duties of the job

Efficient running of identified clinical sessions.
Participation in rapid access clinics, Orthodontics and Oral surgery.
Working within a part of a team.
Assisting with chair side duties
Assisting with IPC, IG and safeguarding compliance.

We are a team of six consultants and hard working Dental Nursing staff across both sites RSH/PRH. As a team, we work together to provide safe care to the population of Shropshire.
