CONSULTANT in PALLIATIVE CARE

The role

We are looking for 2 enthusiastic Consultants to join our dynamic and expanding Hospital Palliative Care team.  Full time and part time applications are welcome and the posts are available as soon as deal candidates are found.  

Candidates for this role must have GMC registration with a CCT in Palliative Medicine and recent experience within the NHS.

The Department

This is an excellent opportunity to further develop the Hospital service and links with the local Hospice and community teams.  You will be part of an existing team of 1 Palliative Medicine Consultant and 5 Hospital CNS’s providing care to the population of Shropshire and Mid-Wales – catchment of 520,000 people. This exciting new post is a development on existing provision with an emphasis on expanding Hospital Palliative Care.

The posts are based at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford. Applications are welcome for those unable to work full time for personal reasons.
