This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced Clinical Project Manager.
This role is a 9 month fixed term/secondment contract to play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of Neonatal Badgernet as part of the wider trust Digital Transformation programme.
The role will be responsible for managing complex projects including the development and management of project plans and issue & risk logs. You will play an integral part to the project management groups, ensuring that all project workstream leads both internal and external are on target to deliver workstream tasks which is critical to a safe and successful go-live / cutover.
Part of your core role will be to ensure that highlight reports are completed within the agreed timeframes and relevant project documentation is prepared in advance of project Programme Boards and Steering Committees.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will
- Work directly with the clinical neonatal team and key stakeholders to manage the implementation of neonatal Badgernet which involves significant change and service improvement.
- Ensure working practice and behaviour always meets the NMC registration standards and code of conduct. Act as a professional role mode when representing the Trust.
- Build strong influential relationships with staff at all levels involved in the work stream.
- Act as a change agent, ensuring that all activities and plans are effective, evidence based, and aligned with national guidance, emerging best practice, and evolving service needs.
- Coordinate and chair project meetings, ensuring clear agendas, structure discussions and effective engagement with stakeholders. They will provide direction and support to colleagues, contribute to informed decision-making, and assist in the delivery of key work programmes in line with project and organisational objectives.
- Support the delivery of the work programme, ensuring projects are organized, managed and reported to the delivery director against the master programme. Ensure a focus on objectives which deliver the highest standards of efficiency with no adverse impact on quality or patient safety.
- Apply creativity and innovation techniques to the projects including learning from other hospitals and from non-healthcare sectors.
- Ensure that evidence-based practice is fully and effectively deployed in all project work.
