We are looking forward to welcoming you to our Accident and Emergency Open Day on Thursday 18th August 2022 between 10:00am and 4:00pm. The event will be held at the Shropshire Education and Conference Centre (SECC), which is based at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital (RSH).
On the day you can expect:
- Live demos - cannulation, venepuncture etc.
- Presentations throughout the day from existing team members
- Try on Major Incident gear
- Meet and greet with the Nurse educators
- Q&A session with the A&E team

There are full and part time positions available across the Accident and Emergency department at both hospital sites, for the following roles:
- Band 2 Healthcare Assistants
- Band 3 Emergency Care Technicians
- Band 4 Nursing Associates
- Band 5 Staff Nurses (RN/RCN/RMN/RNLD)
- Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurses (RN/RCN/RMN/RNLD)
There is also the opportunity to rotate between sites, dealing with different specialities and giving you the best experience to learn new skills and achieve your full potential!

Working for our organisation
You will be part of a friendly Emergency Medicine Multi-Disciplinary Team. We strive to deliver high standards of care whilst dealing with hyper-acute patients. You will receive adequate training to support you in the role with exciting opportunities of progression within the Emergency Division.
