This is an exciting opportunity to join the Medicine and Emergency Care Division as a Service Manager. This is a full time position, working as part of a team across both the Royal Shrewsbury and the Princess Royal Hospitals.   

The successful candidate will be one of four Service Managers responsible for supporting the Assistant Operational Managers and Operational Managers in the management of the business activities of the Division to ensure delivery of its strategic and operational objectives in line with the Operational Delivery Plan.

The post holder will be required to work between both sites.

 

Main duties of the job

 

The post holder will fulfil a crucial role in fostering excellent communication and working relationships with the clinical specialities, their teams and stakeholders. To be responsible for our ambitious programme for service improvement and sustained delivery of key local and national performance standards including 18week RTT and Cancer waiting times.

Current NHS experience is an advantage, with a strong focus on delivery and a desire for success.
