We are looking for an Administration Officer, Procurement Officer or Pharmacy Support Officer to join our fantastic Procurement team.
This is a fast paced exciting environment that is essential to patient care.
The successful applicant will possess an NVQ Level 2 in pharmacy (or equiavlent experience). You must have previous experience within administration in a healthcare setting, ideally within Pharmacy. Computer skills are essential.
Main duties of the job
- The role helps to keep the pharmacy running smoothly by supporting the team and stepping in when senior staff are away.
- It involves ordering medicines and supplies, checking deliveries, and making sure stock levels are correct.
- The job includes talking to suppliers to fix any problems with orders or prices.
- It also requires keeping computer records up to date and helping staff learn how to use the systems.
- The role supports the pharmacy office with everyday admin tasks while keeping all information private and accurate.
