An opportunity has arisen for a Lung Cancer Pathway Co-ordinator to provide clerical and administrative work to support the lung cancer clinical nurse specialists (CNS) and the multidisciplinary team.
The successful applicant will have previous administrative experience with IT skills in programmes such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
This is a 12-month fixed term post, 32 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
The main role will include clerical and administrative work to support the lung cancer clinical nurse specialists (CNS) and the multidisciplinary team.
The post holder will assist with tracking patients on the Urgent Suspected Lung Cancer pathway, undertaking audits, submitting data and helping the lung CNS team and clinicians in coordination of patients care.
The post holder will provide effective communication with associated departments.
