The Head of  Freedom to Speak Up (FTSU) will lead a Team of FTSU Guardians and FTSU Champions to work alongside the Executive Team and Trust Senior Leadership Teams to support the organisation in achieving our objective of becoming a more open and transparent place to work.  We are strengthening our FTSU team to actively encourage and support all staff to speak up safely, without fear of reprisal.

The Head of  FTSU will play a critical part in achieving the following outcomes:

A culture of speaking up instilled throughout the organisation
Speaking up processes are effective and continuously improved
All staff have the capability to speak up effectively and managers have the capability to support those who are speaking up
All staff are supported appropriately when they speak up or support other people who are speaking up

To be considered, you should have experience of working in a senior role and the ability to operate independently, impartially and objectively, whilst working in partnership with individuals and groups throughout the Trust, including the senior leadership team.
