The Trust's aim is always to put patients at the heart of everything we do and is guided by the principles and Trust values developed by our staff. In line with this vision, the Estates Directorate are seeking to recruit an Administrative Assistant who exemplifies the values to join our team.

You will help to support and administer the Salto access control system cards, a new system that is being implemented in the Trust.

You will work under own initiative to provide administrative support to the Estates team acting as the first point of contact for enquiries from ‘end-users’ of the Estates services via the Helpdesk. 

You will also help cover to ensure that an efficient Reception/’Front of House’ service is provided for the Estates Department, including implementation of the ‘Contractor Control’ procedures, and issuing of Staff ID badges and access control cards.

The successful applicant will have a positive can-do attitude and be able to demonstrate flexibility and initiative when dealing with a wide range of administrative duties and have experience in filing systems. 

Applicants should possess developed keyboard skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Main duties of the job

You will help to support and administer the Salto access control system cards, a new system that is being implemented in the Trust and provide administrative support to the Estates team, which includes typing/word processing and the distribution and filing/collating of documents, together with acting as the first point of contact for enquiries from ‘end-users’ of the Estates services via the Helpdesk, and associated software.
