This is an exciting time to be joining the Medicine and Emergency Care Division as we continue our journey of transformation and innovation. Working in partnership with our existing Deputy Divisional Director you will provide senior leadership to the Medicine side of the Division and will be responsible for leading and delivering transformational change across the medicine portfolio.

We are a friendly, innovative and delivery focussed team working across the two main sites within the Trust at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford.

You will work with our internal and system partners utilising your extensive collaborative and influencing skills to deliver the business as usual and lead the implementation of major projects and improvement programmes. This will include delivering a comprehensive transformational change programme across our outpatient services.

Main duties of the job

As a member of the MEC leadership team, the post holder will play a key role in decision making within the Division. You will work with internal and system partners to support the implementation of major transformation projects and provide support for projects by creating business cases, plans and assurance as required.   

Leading the MEC Medicine Centre Leadership Teams and working with SaTH Divisional Colleagues,  Corporate Services, Executive Team and STW System partners you will play a crucial role in developing the maturity and visibility of the progress of MEC transformation programmes.
