We are looking for a Consultant with an interest in head and neck and skin cancer surgery to join our expanding Department supporting 520,000 people in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid-Wales.

The Role

There is flexibility in the split of work between head and neck and skin cancer surgery,the job plan is currently remunerated at 11 PA’s.This is a replacement Post but with an opportunity to build up a new patient base in an established Head and Neck Unit that has been operating for over 20 years .

We are a friendly Department of 4 Consultant colleagues and are well supported by 4 experienced Speciality Doctors , 1 Specialist Registrar and 4 DCT’s.There are weekly head and neck and skin MDT meetings with close working relationships with Dermatology Oculoplastics and ENT colleagues

There is excellent Theatre and Department Nursing support together with comprehensive Maxillofacial Laboratory back up , including 3-D modelling. You will join a 1 in 5 on call Consultant rota with comprehensive 24 hour Junior and Middle Grade cover.
