Locum Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

If so, we would like to welcome you to join our friendly, supportive, surgical team, working in close collaboration with our forward thinking team of 5 existing Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon (5.0 WTE). We are looking for a Consultant to join our expanding Department supporting 520,000 people in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid-Wales. This is an additional post in locum capacity for a maximum of 12 months in the first instance.
We require an enthusiastic individual with the skills to carry out a wide range of Oral & Maxillofacial treatments including skin cancer surgery and routine maxillofacial surgery – that includes and is not limited to dentoalveolar, paediatric, TMJ, salivary gland. There would be an opportunity to develop orthognathic surgery subject to appropriate discussions. The on-call commitment is currently 1:5 and would move to a 1:6 shift on a rolling Rota.
The post is for 10 Programmed Activities per week with an option to work an additional PA (Total 11PA) by agreement.
