We are seeking applications from suitably qualified radiographers to join our team in Shrewsbury. We would welcome applications from radiographers already working at Band 6 level but this post would also be suitable for band 5 Radiographers wishing to progress.

This opportunity is for 1 full time post primarily in the treatment areas, however, there may be an opportunity to work in pre-treatment. On-going professional development is actively encouraged.

The department consists of 3 Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerators; , a Gulmay Unit and a Toshiba wide bore CT scanner with radiographer-led palliative virtual simulation using Eclipse.

We have an active Clinical Trials department and participate in most major trials.

We offer a supportive, collaborative working environment and the chance to participate in our Radiographer led initiatives including Review Clinics, Site specific MDTs, virtual simulation and IGRT.

All staff have the opportunity to work flexible hours; full-time posts work 37.5 hours over four long days with a rolling day off. All staff participate in on-call for emegency patients at the weekend..
