We have an exciting full time opportunity for a caring, motivated and enthusiastic person to join the the ENT Outpatients Department at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
We are looking to recruit someone who has excellent communication skills, kind, caring and enjoys working in a busy team. The post holder will provide essential clinical and administrative support to the clinical team within our Outpatients Department, helping to provide a high level of care to patients. You will manage a group of patients on their journey through the consultations, any relevant diagnostics and will give information as and when deemed necessary.
The post holders must be able to effectively manage their own workload when caring for a group of patients under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Ability to work cross site as need arises.

Main duties of the job
- Take responsibility for smooth running identified clinical activity
- Ensuring equipment is available for use including decontamination of scopes
- To support patients during their outpatient appointment.
- Ensuring cleanliness of the department and maintaining IPC standards
- Escort patients to and from other wards and departments under the direct instruction of the registered nurses.
