We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated experienced Radiographer with extensive post graduate experience in MRI to join our very busy Radiology Team here at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust. This role is based at The Princess Royal Hospital (PRH), Telford with rotation to the Community Diagnostic centre (CDC) at Stafford Park, Telford.
The successful applicant must have a BSc (Hon) Diagnostic Radiography or DCR, current HCPC registration and extensive post graduate experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and team leadership.
Main duties of the job
- This role helps run and improve the MRI service so patients get safe, high‑quality care.
- It involves leading the daily work of the MRI team and making sure staff are trained and supported.
- You will make sure the MRI scanner and equipment are used safely and kept in good working order.
- You will plan staff rotas, manage waiting lists, keep records, and follow Trust policies.
- You will work closely with other teams, deal with patient concerns, and help keep the service running smoothly.
- You will also help with audits, safety checks, new equipment, and your own ongoing professional development.
