An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Radiology System Manager for The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust including Satellite sites. The post holder will be required to work across all sites, with their base site at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading the Picture Archive and Communications System (PACS), the Radiology Information System (RIS), Voice recognition (VR) and other systems connected to PACS across the Trust. The post acts as the first point of contact and escalation of issues in relation to these systems, ensuring proactive monitoring and resolution is undertaken. This post is also responsible for managing and leading the Radiology System Team.
The candidate will work with the Radiology leadership team to ensure Radiology systems have a clear strategy of development, including considering new technologies.
Main duties of the job:
The successful candidate will have experience of managing a team, as well as experience of managing and maintaining an information system. The successful candidate must have proven leadership and communication skills, be self-motivated, well organised and have a high standard of professionalism in order to deal with a range of customer stakeholders at all levels. Clinical experience in a radiology environment is desirable
