We are looking for an experienced musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our dynamic and friendly outpatient therapy department. 

The role requires highly specialist skills to assess/triage, diagnose, treat and manage a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.  Applicants must have prior experience within the musculoskeletal physiotherapy field. 

You will work alongside and be supported by, a team of colleagues from band 8b to band 2 at The Princess Royal Hospital in Telford, to deliver a high quality patient experience. 

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be required to manage a clinical caseload of patients with both acute and chronic musculoskeletal presentation. You will be able to carry out comprehensive assessments of complex patients and devise appropriate treatment plans. You will provide clinical leadership and supervision to your colleagues.

The department is involved in audit and research projects and has close links with HEI's providing clinical placements and working closely to identify opportunities for staff.  We are committed to allocated CPD time and we provide a core day once a month when CPD, mentorship, in service training and attendance at a  monthly staff meeting is encouraged. The post holder will be expected to contribute to these opportunities.

The Therapy Services Department has a dedicated outpatient department which includes a well equipped gymnasium, a hydrotherapy pool and a hand therapy unit.
