Due to retirement of the current post holder this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Band 7 or an experienced Band 6 looking to progress to a managerial role. 

The post oversees and manages the Haematology Day Units at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and The Princess Royal Hospital.  The RSH unit is a very recent new build which currently provides outpatient clinic reviews and Haematological treatments for Haematology patients throughout Shropshire and Mid Wales.  The smaller unit in The Princess Royal Hospital provides outpatient clinic review and basic treatments currently although this may change in the future.  The post holder would oversee the daily work through both units and manage all nursing staff within those units.
