We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible, highly motivated and experienced Radiographers to join our very busy Cross Sectional team here at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust. The successful applicant will be based at our Princess Royal Hospital Site, Telford, with rotation to our state of the art Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) in Stafford Park, Telford. The working pattern will be a mix of 12 and 7.5 hour duties over a 7 day roster.
The successful applicants must have a BSc (Hon) Diagnostic Radiography or DCR, current HCPC registration and preferably post graduate experience and competence in CT and MRI.
Main duties of the job
- Carry out X-ray examinations safely and to a high standard, following all regulations.
- Make sure images are clear and accurate while keeping radiation exposure as low as possible.
- Work independently and manage your own workload, including out-of- hours and emergency duties.
- Support senior radiographers and help train students and junior staff.
- Care for patients throughout their visit, ensuring privacy, dignity, and clear communication.
- Follow all hospital policies on safety, data protection, and equipment use.
