An excellent opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated and experienced endoscopy nurse to join the friendly and well-established team in the Endoscopy Unit. 

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellent clinical care and a desire to improve patient standards continually. You will be expected to work closely with the Senior Nursing team on quality improvement projects to facilitate positive changes in how we work and to share your clinical expertise to develop the skills of the broader team through practice development, education, mentorship and preceptorship.

You will be required to manage a team of nurses and healthcare assistants, closely monitoring the progression of their clinical skills and encouraging their professional development. On a day-to-day basis, you will be relied upon to assume direct responsibility for the smooth running of the unit and providing a high-quality service to patients, co-ordinating care and prioritising the team's workload.

The successful applicant must have excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills and be approachable and supportive to work effectively as part of the team.

We are looking to recruit someone who will role model high clinical and professional standards, who is enthusiastic, kind and able to provide safe and compassionate nursing care to acutely unwell patients. You will be supported with a period of induction and encouraged to pursue your interests through further training and development opportunities at the Trust.
