We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Digital Communications and Marketing Lead to support the People Services department, providing expert advice developing and delivering on a communication and marketing/social media strategy to promote key factors of our People Plan. You will ideally have previous experience in communications, engagement, and marketing and social media development.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will lead the communications and marketing activities of the HR function and will take responsibility for website, intranet, social media activity and any associated microsite. Previous experience within communications and marketing within a large complex organisation would be an advantage but equally important is the ability to work proactively and the flexibility to adapt to changing environments.

Postgraduate qualification in relevant specialism
Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
Project / programme management qualification
Master’s degree or equivalent level experience.
Knowledge and Experience
Knowledge of Communication and engagement best practice
Significant experience of working in the specialised field of media and communications
Experience of identifying and using the most appropriate communications channels to support internal and external communications objectives
Experience of producing information for a wide range of stakeholders, including the public – e.g. newsletters, leaflets, brochures – including knowledge and experience of commissioning print, design and photography.
Experience of desktop publishing packages and HTML and other software’s.
Experience of events management and engagement
Experience of working in complex organisations and delivering communication projects.
Relevant experience within a large commercial complex sector
