We have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Part Time Catering Supervisor 30 hours per week for a 12 month contract to join our friendly, busy & dynamic Catering Team based at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford.

The post holder will be required to work as part of the food service team in the Catering Department and at ward level at The Princess Royal Hospital, to provide and maintain an efficient catering service for both patient services and commercial services. This will also include supporting the assistant catering manager in all operational duties that are required on a day to day basis, and also liaise with other departments as and when necessary.

You will be required to possess an NVQ level 3 in supervisory or have previous team leader experience, Diploma in supervisory Management or equivalent or relevant experience.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will  be responsible for supervising the day to day operations of the Patient Catering Service and all retail units at The Princess Royal Hospital Telford and to contribute to the development of strategic plans and to assist in the development of operational plans for the services in conjunction with the Catering Operations Manager and Catering Operations Manager.
