The main focus of the role is to provide clinical expertise and professional advice to patients and the multi-disciplinary team, manage complex wounds, support and lead other members of the team, provide education and training relating to tissue viability to trust staff and undertake clinical audits when required. You will lead the development and implementation of innovative ways of working in relation to tissue viability specialist practice.
This role is patient facing so excellent communication and negotiating skills are required and you should be confident and have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people to establish and maintain internal and external contacts.
The successful applicant will need to be able to cope with a demanding workload and ever-changing priorities. The role will require the successful applicant to work on both sites within the Trust (The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and The Princess Royal Hospital) whilst providing a 9 -5pm Monday to Friday tissue viability service.
