We are looking to recruit a  Band 5 registered nurse to join our friendly and talented team who strive to deliver high quality  care to patients.

Main duties of the job

The ward is made up of 27 beds, looking after a range of patients who have suffered various types of orthopaedic trauma.  You will develop skills in looking after pre and post op theatre patients, learn how to recognise the deteriorating patient and be able to escalate to the appropriate team.  You will gain experience and knowledge in all areas of patient care from admission to discharge working closely with the multi disciplinary team.  We aim to recruit an enthusiastic staff nurse who is committed to providing care of the highest standard with a caring and compassionate attitude.  

The successful candidate will be required to participate in internal rotation of shifts.  You will need to be a clinical role model with the willingness to contribute to the development of the team, as well as your own personal growth.  You will need excellent communication skills, including verbal, non verbal and written as well as being able to work effectively as part of the team.
