Due to service improvements, we are delighted to offer an opportunity for a registered nurse to join our friendly and experienced Gynaecology team.
This is an ideal opportunity to broaden your experience whilst being supported by an experienced nursing team.
The Woman’s and Children’s service at The Princess Royal Hospital consists of 12 beds caring for a wide variety of patients including women recovering from gynaecological surgery, early pregnancy complications, breast surgery and surgical procedures/conditions.
Alongside the ward, there is also an EPAS, GATU and outpatient services. EPAS assesses and manages patients with early pregnancy issues and GATU is an assessment area where ladies presenting with Gynaecological complaints can be assessed and treated. These ladies may then be admitted to the ward. The outpatient service enables some procedures to be carried out and women assessed. Successful candidates will be required to work across all services.
Ongoing professional development is very important to us and can offer training to widen your experience.
Together with our staff, we have developed a set of Values which form a framework for a positive and supportive environment for our patients, visitors and staff. We believe that all candidates should be able to demonstrate and be equally committed in fulfilling these Values to be successful in their application.
It’s very important that we select the right nurses to come and work for us. The selection process for all nursing posts will include a Conversions, Medicines Management and Nursing Practice Numeracy Test. You will be invited to sit these assessments if you are successful for the position.
