Our two hospitals, The Princess Royal Hospital in Telford and the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital in Shrewsbury, provide a wide range of acute hospital services for around half a million people across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales. Working as a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Departments, you’ll find it extremely rewarding working as an integral part of the team to deliver high quality emergency care to patients. You’ll be joining our Trust at an exciting time as we continue to grow and improve our services, and we know you will make a positive contribution to its future success. 

We have full and part time positions available at both The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford, and are looking to recruit nurses with the following specialities:

Adult Nursing
Children’s Nursing
Mental Health Nursing
Learning Disability Nursing

Newly qualified?

Our preceptorship programme is a 12-month programme for newly qualified nurses, designed to consolidate and enhance the skills gained during your training. You will also have access to a career conversation towards the end of your preceptorship year to ensure we are giving you the best opportunities to professionally develop within the Trust.

* Please note that holding a Literacy and Numeracy qualification (as per the person specification), is a requirement for this position.  If you do not hold an English and Numeracy Qualification at GCSE grades 9-4 or equivalent, you will have the opportunity to complete a simple Literacy and Numeracy assessment once you commence in post.*
