Applications are now invited from Registered Nursing Associates to undertake their top up shortened Adult Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship starting in December 2021

The Apprenticeship is a full time 18 months programme leading to a Bachelor of Nursing Degree and registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council as a Registered Nurse.

To be eligible to apply you MUST meet the following criteria -

  • Currently employed as a Qualified Nursing Associate in Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital.
  • GCSEs at grade C+/ 4 in an English-based subject and Maths or Level 2 Foundation skills in Numeracy and Literacy . You must attach copies of your Math and English qualifications with your application
  • Have an active registration with the NMC  as a Nursing Associate

You will be studying with the University of Wolverhampton at their Priorslee Campus in Telford.  The programme will include placements in a variety of care settings both in Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital and external to the organisation
