An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Support Secretary to work within the Musculoskeletal Secretariat at The Princess Royal Hospital/Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. The post is based cross site but this is flexible. The successful applicant will provide support to the MSK Supervisor and the secretarial team.

Main duties of the job

The post holder’s duties will include supporting with typing of clinical notes, ward rounds, theatre notes, e referrals, scanning documentation onto portal, validation and dealing with patients and doctors as and when necessary amongst other duties.

The position requires you to produce accurate work under pressure and working knowledge of using Microsoft Office applications, SEMA, SEW, CRIS, Clinical Portal, ERS, an understanding of data protection together with excellent organizational and communication skills, flexibility, good time management and the ability to work as part of a team.

Experience of working in a healthcare setting would be desirable.
