Following promotion of the current post holder we are looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised H&S Coordinator to join our established Health and Safety Team, based at the Princess Royal Hospital.
The post holder will support the work of the Health and Safety Team by providing an efficient and professional administration service relating to health and safety matters, and will be the secretary to the Trust's Health, Safety, Security and Fire Committee.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be a key point of contact for Health and Safety enquiries including RPE fit testing, and they will support the smooth running of the Trust's RPE fit testing service to include some fit testing duties during periods of high demand. They will analyse and report on Datix and ESR data to produce routine reports in support of Health and Safety management activities across the Trust. They will organise internal and external training courses, liaising with external accreditation bodies including Highfield and IOSH.
