We have an exciting opportunity to join our team within the Breast Imaging Office.

You will work in an established team providing a wide range of administration duties across the department, with the opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge. 

The role will entail interacting with patients, the public and staff at all levels across the trust.  Therefore, you will require good communication and customer care skills, have a friendly, pleasant and helpful approach, whilst understanding the need for confidentiality in a health care environment. 

Our Trust values would need to be demonstrated through the individual's approach to working in this environment, with a clean, neat and tidy appearance, together with the appropriate attitudes and behaviour to work in a health care setting. 

You must be flexible to meet the demands of the service, have a can-do attitude and be a good team worker.  You will have achieved a good standard of GCSE education grades 9-4 (or equivalent) which include Maths and English. It is essential that candidates can demonstrate a capacity to show empathy, have a sensitive approach to difficult situations and understand the need for safe working practice in a hospital environment.  

As the Breast Screening service is split across The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford, it is essential that the candidate can travel across both sites. 

The well-being of our staff is of the upmost importance to us.  If you are offered a role at our Trust, and fall into the increased and higher risk categories as set out by Public Health England (PHE) and NHSI/E, your line manager will complete an risk assessment with you.  This will be completed in conjunction with the latest guidance from Public Health England in relation to Covid-19.
