You will be expected to undertake training as necessary to gain competency to recruit  patients into non-interventional clinical studies; to perform venepuncture and process samples as per trial protocols, carry out clinical observations, assist patients in completing trial questionnaires, identify relevant clinical data and enter into paper and electronic case report forms, maintain patient trial milestone spreadsheets and all other duties to support the research nurses in identifying, recruiting and providing on-going care for patients within individual trial protocols.

Approximately 50% of your time will be with desk based activities essential in clinical research whilst the other time will be seeing patients in clinics or on the wards.

The post will be based at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital site, however regular travel will be required to The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford to support studies and clinics.
