A new and exciting apprenticeship opportunity for those with an interest to work within Health and Social Care is available. This advert is a for a position based in Telford.
You will be required to attend a two week induction based in Shrewsbury then travel to your placement areas which are hosted by various health and care placement partners for the remainder of your apprenticeship.
Health and social care employers have worked in partnership to develop a new and exciting apprenticeship programme. As an apprentice you will have the unique opportunity to gain clinical experience, by rotating through different sectors; Acute (Hospital), Community, Primary Care and Local Authority (care homes, voluntary sector) to develop transferable skills and learn about both health and social care approaches to care giving.
Throughout your apprenticeship you will employed by The National Skills Academy for Health, hosted by employers, Health and care providers within the three localities and your qualification will be delivered by Telford College.
You will be required to have mandatory vaccinations to enable you to attend placement. These may include: H/O BCG vaccination. Varicella (H/O chicken pox), MMR and Hep B vaccinations.
