We have a new and exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, forward thinking and enthusiastic individual to join the successful Post-Graduate Medical Education Team at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust.

We are responsible for supporting the training of doctors through out the Trust, some of this training is done in a clinical skills environment.     Duties will include setting up and packing away of anatomical manikins, assisting with the organisation and smooth running of high fidelity simulation training sessions and providing administrative support to the Clinical Practice Instructor and Clinical Skills Faculty.

The role will involve interacting with a wide variety of people within the organisation, but also with people outside the organisation.  Therefore, you will need to develop good communication and customer care skills, already having a friendly, pleasant and helpful approach to build on is critical.

The successful candidate will have already achieved a good standard of education at GCSE (or equivalent) level which includes Mathematics and English grade 9 - 4 and ideally have had some relevant exposure to an administration or customer focused environment.

You must have good IT skills, be numerate and have an eye for detail.  The ability to work accurately is key in this role to ensure we deliver a high quality service.

To support your development in your role as administration assistant apprentice, during your 13 month placement you will be enrolled with Telford College and will be required to complete a Diploma at Level 2/Customer Care.
