Pharmacy Technicians are essential professional members of the healthcare team and contribute greatly in the supply of medicines and services for our patients.
The role is challenging, varied, complex and responsive to the increasingly innovative development of new medicines and their role in healthcare today.

The training opportunity is an advanced apprenticeship full time fixed term contract for 2 years.
You will study to achieve :-
Level 3 Diploma (QCF) in Pharmaceutical Sciences plus
Level 3 NVQ Diploma(QCF) in Pharmacy Service Skills
Both qualifications are approved to enable you to apply for registration to practice as Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
Training and support will be provided by work based assessors and college tutors during your training.
The training is hospital based, with attendance at Stoke on Trent College one day per week and will be commencing in September 2019.
The annual salary for this training post is £16,632.70 per annum upon commencement and upon successful progression to the 2nd year £18,117.75 per annum.
