The Radiography Departments at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital (RSH) and The Princess Royal Hospital (PRH), Telford, will have 3 new MRI Scanners by April 2018.
The first Siemens Aera 1.5T was installed at PRH in October 2017 adding Neuro Perfusion and Spectroscopy capability. The scanner due to be installed at RSH in April 2018 will be fully cardiac enabled. The RSH MRI Suite will also have full general anesthetic facilities built within the room design.
This is a significant upgrade to our department for both our patients and Radiographers/Radiologists wishing to join our Trust.
There is a large increase in demand for MRI scans due to their vast capabilities and we are working on providing new innovative pathways of patient care.
We have also invested in a state-of the art PACS system, 3 new Ultrasound machines and 2 image intensifiers this year. The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital has introduced 2 new Siemens CT scanner within the last two years.
The Radiology department within SaTH has a friendly and enthusiastic team who pride themselves on offering the very best in patient care and service quality including a rotation of trainee Registrars and Radiography Students from Birmingham City University, Keele University, and Bangor University.
Our team are always interested in hearing from Radiographers and Radiologists looking for new positions. If you are looking for Radiography Jobs or a Radiologist Jobs please contact Glen Whitehouse on email@example.com
