National Apprenticeship Week 2019: Aileen Pueblo

Aileen has been at the Trust for nearly 6 years. She started as a Healthcare Assistant and has since trained to become an Assistant Theatre Practioner in Perioperative Care (the care that is given before and after surgery).

Aileen is currently in her second year of a Level 4 Foundation Degree funded via the Apprenticeship Levy training budget. Once a week she has time to study at University, and the rest of her time is spent training on the job in Theatres.

“I am really happy to have this opportunity via the Apprenticeship training budget, it has allowed me to progress in my career, and hopefully I will become a fully qualified Theatre Practitioner."
