Do you fancy a change of workplace and gaining new skills? We are offering a rotation post for up to 2 years with a permanent position at the end of your rotation. We can accommodate 3 to 6 monthly rotation in a number of areas to include working on Ward 25 Colorectal and Gastro.

We are currently seeking a dynamic, compassionate and innovative Registered Nurse who really cares about the patient experience and the delivery of quality patient focused care.

At Ward 25 we have 18 gastro beds and 20 colorectal surgical beds.

  • Newly qualified nurses will be supported through the Trust Preceptorship course and we will provide a supernumerary period for new starters.
  • Training opportunities exist in the way of supporting shadowing in theatre, and working with the colorectal specialist nurses so that you could understand the colorectal patient care.
  • Additionally, we would support you working with the IBD nurse specialist and the infusion team to develop the gastro skills.
  • Online training is available and other study days are encouraged.

We have excellent consultant support and the Ward Team Leaders and Ward Manager are exceptional.

Come and have an informal chat with me so that I can see what package you would be interested in.
